Shir Chadash is The Temple’s intergenerational choir. It consists of a growing membership of singers who enjoy sharing the gift of their music with the congregation. Dr. Louie Bailey, The Temple Music Director leads rehearsals on most Shabbat afternoons from 12:00 – 1:00 in the Waller Chapel.
Shir Chadash, which means “a new song*,” leads the congregation in song one Friday of each month and also performs occasionally for special events. The music is contemporary and joyful, soul-filling and easily approachable. If you love music, Judaism, and fun, you should consider joining the choir. Bring your family members and friends – all ages are welcome!
“Sing unto God a new song.” Psalm 96:1
